Terms and Conditions

  • I agree to Global Sports Travel Terms and Conditions and understand that these packages are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • I acknowledge that event dates, times, and venues are subject to change, and Global Sports Travel is not liable for such changes made by the event organisers.
  • I understand that the packages may include services provided by third parties, and Global Sports Travel is not responsible for any issues arising from these services.
  • I agree to comply with all event and venue regulations, including security and conduct policies.
  • I confirm that I am responsible for obtaining valid travel documentation, including visas, if applicable
  • I accept that cancellations or changes due to force majeure events (e.g., weather, pandemics, strikes) are beyond the control of Global Sports Travel, and refunds will not be issued in such cases.
  1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you, the Client (“Client” or “you”), and Global Sports Travel (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a business unit of Chawla Group Pty Ltd, ABN 44160451605, and its subagent Match Day Experiences, LLC. By making a booking, paying a deposit, or otherwise confirming your intent to purchase a travel package from Global Sports Travel, you agree to these Terms. Please review these Terms carefully.
  2. Definitions
    2.1. Client: The individual or entity making the booking, including all persons or entities on whose behalf the booking is made.
    2.2. Services: Travel packages, event tickets, hospitality packages, and any related services provided by Global Sports Travel.
    2.3. Contract: The legally binding agreement between the Client and Global Sports Travel, established upon issuance of a confirmation invoice following receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
    2.4. Deposit: Any payment required to secure a booking, as specified at the time of booking.
    2.5. Event: Any sporting, entertainment, or similar event for which Global Sports Travel provides tickets or packages.
    2.6. Supplier: Any third party providing services included in the packages, such as hotels, airlines, transport companies, and event organizers.
    2.7. Force Majeure: Includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, war, armed conflict, strikes, labor disputes, riots, public health emergencies, government regulations, civil disturbance, terrorism, extreme weather, disasters, and any other circumstances beyond our control.
  3. Contract Formation
    3.1. A binding Contract between Global Sports Travel and the Client is formed upon issuance of a confirmation invoice following receipt of the deposit or full payment.
    3.2. By entering into this Contract, the Client guarantees their authority to accept these Terms on behalf of all persons listed on the booking and accepts full responsibility for disseminating relevant information to all other parties included in the booking.
  4. Our Role as Agent
    4.1. Agent Capacity: Global Sports Travel arranges travel, accommodations, and event tickets solely in the capacity of an agent. All packages and associated services are coordinated on behalf of our Clients; however, we do not directly provide or operate these services.
    4.2. Limitations on Liability: We assume no responsibility or liability for claims or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
     Accidents, event cancellations, or venue changes
     Flight delays or cancellations, weather disruptions, or other forces of nature
     Overbookings, closures, or malfunctions of accommodations or transportation
     Pandemics, public health restrictions, or acts of nature
    Clients are advised to understand the inherent risks in event-based travel and to take appropriate precautions.
  5. Payments, Credit Card Payments, and Compliance
    5.1. Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable Deposit is required to secure the Services. The deposit amount and payment deadlines will be specified at booking.
    5.2. Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due 90 days before the Event or departure. Bookings made less than 90 days before the Event require immediate full payment.
    5.3. Late Payment Penalty: Overdue balances are subject to a late payment fee of 8% above the Reserve Bank of Australia base rate. Global Sports Travel reserves the right to cancel any booking with overdue payments, retaining any previously made payments.
    5.4. Global Sports Travel is an Australian business and may frequently change the prices based on currency fluctuations and adjustments.
  6. Credit Card Payments and Waiver of Chargeback Rights
    6.1. Credit Card Authorization and Waiver of Chargeback Rights: By authorizing a credit card payment, whether verbally or in writing, the Client agrees to these Terms and irrevocably waives any right to initiate a credit card chargeback or dispute for any reason under this agreement. All payments made to Global Sports Travel are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise in these Terms.
    6.2. Acknowledgment of High-Risk Nature: The Client acknowledges that engaging in travel arrangements, particularly with event-based packages, carries inherent risks, including potential disruptions, delays, or cancellations. By proceeding with payment and doing business with us, the Client agrees to assume these risks and releases and indemnifies Global Sports Travel from all associated liabilities, including any risk of financial loss due to non-delivery, delay, or any other unforeseen events.
    6.3. Indemnification Against Credit Card Chargebacks: The Client agrees to indemnify Global Sports Travel for any expenses, legal fees, or charges incurred in defending against any unauthorized chargebacks. By proceeding with the payment, the Client acknowledges that Global Sports Travel will not be held liable for chargebacks or disputes and that payment shall be deemed final and binding.
    6.4. Processing Fees for Credit Card Payments:
    6.4.1. Payments made via local credit cards are subject to a processing fee of 2.65%.
    6.4.2. Payments made via international credit cards are subject to a processing fee of 3.85%.
    6.5. Transactions exceeding $10,000 (excluding initial deposits) must be processed through wire transfer, SWIFT Transfers, ACH, or similar electronic funds transfer mechanisms.
    6.6. Travel Insurance Requirement: We strongly recommend that the Client purchase comprehensive travel insurance, which includes cancellation coverage. In the event of any disruptions or cancellations related to your package, travel insurance will provide coverage for such circumstances. The Client acknowledges that Global Sports Travel bears no responsibility for losses arising from cancellations, delays, or non-delivery and agrees that having insurance coverage is essential for financial protection.
  7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Force Majeure
    7.1. Cancellation by the Client: Written notification of cancellation is required.
    7.1.1. Cancellations before the final payment deadline are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the Deposit amount.
    7.1.2. Cancellations after the final payment deadline are non-refundable and incur a 100% cancellation fee.
    7.2. Return of Documentation: All travel documents, if issued, must be returned to Global Sports Travel upon cancellations.
    7.3. For avoidance of doubt, all bookings made with Global Sports Travel are 100% Non-Refundable Bookings: No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the package, including missed services or events.
    7.4. Force Majeure Events: If an Event is postponed, moved, or delayed due to a Force Majeure event, Global Sports Travel may, at its discretion, terminate this agreement by notifying the Client. Alternatively, Global Sports Travel may fulfill the agreement on a new date or at a new location within 24 months, and the Client shall remain bound by these Terms. Global Sports Travel will not be liable for any additional costs or losses due to such changes.
  8. Seating, Stadium Layout, Hospitality Inclusions, Venue Changes, and Other Event Day Risks
    8.1. Any references to ticket categories, seating, location, or venue provided by Global Sports Travel are indicative only. Final seating arrangements, locations, hospitality inclusions, and even the venue of the tournament or event itself are subject to the discretion of the event organizer and may be changed at their discretion, sometimes with minimal notice.
    8.2. Client acknowledges that stadium layouts, seat locations, hospitality offerings, and venue assignments are controlled entirely by the event organizer. The event organizer may alter seating configurations, hospitality inclusions, ticket locations, or the event venue without prior notice.
    8.3. Global Sports Travel will make every reasonable effort to secure the Client’s requested seating category, location, and venue; however, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific seats, categories, hospitality amenities, or the originally specified venue. If the desired seating category or venue is unavailable, Global Sports Travel may provide alternate tickets, which may vary in quality (higher or lower) from the originally indicated seats or venue.
    8.4. The Client understands and accepts that certain risks are inherent to attending events, including, but not limited to, delays, modifications, or cancellations due to weather conditions (such as rain), security protocols, health and safety concerns, crowd control measures, or other unforeseen circumstances. Global Sports Travel has no control over these factors and shall not be liable for any disruptions, inconvenience, or additional costs incurred as a result of such risks.
    8.5. On the day of the event, the organizer may make last-minute changes, including adjustments to start times, restricted access to certain areas, modifications to the scheduled programming, or even cancellations due to adverse conditions such as rain. Global Sports Travel shall not be liable for any refunds, cancellations, or compensation if final seating, hospitality offerings, or venue differ from those the Client paid for or was invoiced for.
    8.6. By purchasing a package, the Client understands and accepts the risk of possible variations in seating, category, or venue and agrees to indemnify Global Sports Travel from any claims related to such changes, including changes on the event day. Global Sports Travel shall not be responsible for any refunds, cancellations, or compensation due to risks or adjustments arising on the event day, or for any deviations from the arrangements the Client paid for or was invoiced for.
  9. Resale, Transfers, and Modifications
    9.1. Prohibition on Resale: Resale of Global Sports Travel packages is strictly prohibited.
    9.2. Packages may be transferred to family or friends, provided its agreed with Global Sports Travel and a written notification is submitted at least 30 days prior to travel.
    9.3. Modifications to event tickets or package inclusions are not permitted after confirmation. Exceptions will not be made for personal emergencies.
  10. Documentation and Personal Identification
    10.1. Responsibility for Documentation: It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure possession of all required travel documentation, including valid passports and visas. Global Sports Travel is not responsible for any denial of entry or travel due to inadequate documentation.
    10.2. Entry Refusals: Travelers denied entry at borders or destinations or events due to documentation issues or legal prohibitions will not be entitled to a refund.
  11. Hotel Accommodations and Incidental Charges
    11.1. Incidental Charges: The Client is responsible for any incidental charges incurred at hotels, including food, beverages, internet, and parking fees. Hotels generally require a credit card at check-in for such charges.
    11.2. Hotel Check-In/Check-Out Times: Standard check-in times apply, and early arrivals or late departures are subject to hotel policy and availability.
    11.3. Hotel Substitutions: Global Sports Travel reserves the right to substitute confirmed hotels with comparable accommodations if necessary.
    11.4. Traveler Name Requirements: The names of all travelers must be provided at least 30 days before travel. Changes within 30 days are subject to a $50/room fee, while changes within 14 days incur a $75/room fee.
  12. Tickets and Badge Return Obligations
    12.1. Ticket Source: Global Sports Travel may procure tickets from official or secondary sources as needed to meet package requirements.
    12.2. Non-Delivery of Tickets: In cases where tickets cannot be supplied as ordered, Global Sports Travel will reimburse the Client for the face value of the tickets purchased but not delivered. This reimbursement constitutes the full extent of Global Sports Travel’s liability regarding ticket availability, and no further compensation or replacement tickets will be provided.
    12.3. Event-Specific Badge Returns: For events requiring badge deposits, the Client must sign an on-site badge deposit contract. Non-returned badges will result in a security charge to the Client’s credit card, which may be as high as AUD $10,000.
  13. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
    13.1. Liability Scope: Global Sports Travel’s liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the Client for the Services. We shall not be liable for any injury, property damage, inconvenience, or additional costs arising from third-party actions, including suppliers or transportation providers.
    13.2. Force Majeure Exemption: Global Sports Travel shall not be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from delays, interruptions, or cancellations due to Force Majeure events.
    13.3. Indemnity: The Client agrees to indemnify Global Sports Travel, its employees, and affiliates against claims or losses arising from the Client’s breach of these Terms or use of the Services.
  14. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
    14.1. Right to Amend: Global Sports Travel reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time. Any amendments will become effective immediately upon posting on our website or upon written notification to the Client. Continued use of our Services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The Client agrees that such amendments are binding and enforceable as part of this agreement.
  15. Governing Law:
    15.1. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively within Queensland jurisdiction.
